SAT 6 JUNE 1 11.00am SLOOP STAGE 3 (repeat of walk on 30 May) Meet at Slade Green Station (TQ522 766). 9.5 mile linear walk along the London Loop. Up the River Cray to picnic lunch stop in Hall Place Gardens (4.3 miles; refreshments available; ornamental gardens; early finish opportunity). Finish at 160/229/269/286/B14/R11 bus stops on A222 beside Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup.
SAT 6 JUNE 2 1.30pm Meet at "The Crown", School Road, Chislehurst for a walk around Petts Wood and Scadbury Park. 5 miles
MON 8 JUNE 10.00am Meet at the "Three Horseshoes", Main Road, Knockholt for a mainly flat walk lasting 2¼ hours.
TUES 9 JUNE 10.45am WANDSWORTH Meet at Earlsfield Station. Linear walk via Wandsworth Park and Wandle Mouth at Thames to finish at Wandsworth Town Station. Picnic/café lunch. 7½ miles.
FRI 12 JUNE 11.00am EXPLORE WIMBLEDON - WALK 3 Meet at Toynbee memorial (junction Wimbledon Hill Road & Belvedere Grove), served by bus 93 from Wimbledon Station. A linear walk including Wimbledon Park. Picnic facilities at end of walk if required. Uphill sections. Return to station by bus. 3 miles. janet@london-footprints.co.uk

Finish at 'The Fox' 146/246 bus stop on the B265 at Keston after crossing High Elms Country Park and passing Keston Ponds.
MON 15 JUNE 10.00am GREEN STREET GREEN Meet at "Rose and Crown", Green Street Green, at junction of Old Hill and Cudham Lane for a walk with four hills lasting 2½ hours.

MON 22 JUNE 10.00am Meet in Crystal Palace Park, outside Information Office near Thicket Road car park, for an historical walk around Penge lasting 2 hours. NO WALKING BOOTS please as we may visit inside houses. Buses 176/312/227/354, also Penge East and Penge West Stations. Walk will finish just after noon near Penge East Station (for Bromley South).
WED 24 JUNE 11.00am LONDON'S GREAT FIRE Meet at Monument Tube Station (Fish Street Hill exit). A level linear walk of 1.7 miles exploring sites associated with the fire of 1666, finishing at Tower Hill Station.
THURS 25 JUNE 11.00am Meet at Happy Valley car park TQ532 572 (free, with loos). Nearest station Coulsdon South, but allow for a mile's walk along Happy Valley to start of walk. A 7 mile circular walk with steep descent and ascent at start of walk. Late picnic lunch at Chaldon church with 12th Century wall paintings.
SAT 27 JUNE 11.00am SLOOP STAGE 5 Meet at 'The Fox' 146/246 bus stop, B265, Keston (TQ412 645). 9.9 mile undulating linear walk along the London Loop. Early finish opportunities at 130/466 bus stop in Upper Shirley, 4.7 miles (probable picnic lunch stop nearby) and Coombe Lane Tramlink stop, 5.4 miles. Finish at Hamsey Green (409 bus stop on B269 for Croydon).
SUN 28 JUNE 12 noon KESTON COUNTRYSIDE DAY Meet at Heathfield Road car park, Keston for the Nash Circular Walk. One hill taken slowly. This walk will end at Keston Common to enable walkers to picnic on the Common and to visit the Countryside event that is being held on the Common. Walkers will make their own way back along Heathfield Road to the car park. 4½ miles.
MON 29 JUNE 10.30am KEMSING Meet at Kemsing village car park TN15 6NB near church. (From Otford Station, Pilgrims' Way east for 1 mile, turn right into Childsbridge Lane then left along West End ¾ mile). A 3½ mile gentle stroll with picnic lunch. Due back 2.30pm.
