WED 1 APRIL 11.00am NOTTING HILL Meet at Notting Hill Gate Station (Notting Hill Gate South exit) for an historic linear walk around area. Teashop or picnic lunch. Ends at Westbourne Grove Station. 6 miles.
THURS 2 APRIL 10.30am JOYDENS WOOD, BEXLEY Meet at Water Lane layby off North Cray Road near the "White Cross" (DA14 5EL). Bus 492, Bunkers Hill. A 4 mile unhurried walk with picnic stop. Due back 2.30pm.
FRI 3 APRIL 11.00am Meet at Phipps Bridge Tramstop for a gentle walk to Merton Abbey Mills. 2 miles.
SAT 4 APRIL 2.00pm BLUE PLAQUE CHISLEHURST & PETTS WOOD Meet at Chislehurst Station for a 5.2 mile linear walk to Petts Wood Station. View seven Blue Plaques and other memorials and sites associated with notable former residents.
BANK HOLIDAY MON 6 APRIL 10.00am FARNBOROUGH Meet at Farnborough by the village sign, Church Road, for a 2¼ hour walk around High Elms.
SAT 11 APRIL 1 1.30pm EXPLORE WIMBLEDON - WALK 1 Meet at Wimbledon Station (outside booking office). Served by SW Trains, District Line and Tramlink. A linear walk finishing at the local history museum (free admission). Uphill sections. 93 bus or ½ mile walk back to station. 2½ miles. janet@london-footprints.co.uk
SAT 11 APRIL 2 2.00pm BLUE PLAQUE HAYES & BROMLEY COMMON Meet under the Blue Plaque at 25 Hayes Street, Hayes (TQ405 663), near 'The George' 119/146 bus stop for a 3.2 mile linear and cross-country walk to the 208/R7 bus stop in Southborough Lane near the memorial plaque to those killed and injured by the V2 rocket which fell on the 'Crooked Billet'. Pass the plaque to Richmal Crompton Lamburn in Oakley Road before an enactment of 'William's Unlucky Day' outside her earlier home in Cherry Orchard Road.
THURS 16 APRIL 2.00pm BLUE PLAQUE ORPINGTON & CHELSFIELD Meet at the Blue Plaque beside the entrance to Priory Gardens from Church Hill, off Orpington High Street (TQ465 665). 2.4 mile linear walk to a Blue Plaque in Chelsfield. Return to Orpington by R3 bus.
FRI 17 APRIL 10.45pm WEST NORWOOD Meet at West Norwood Station for an 8 mile linear walk with some local history. Lunch stop in Balham (picnic or café). Walk will end at Clapham Junction.
SUN 19 APRIL 2.00pm Meet at Farnborough Village sign, Church Road for the FARNBOROUGH CIRCULAR WALK of 4½ miles. No stiles, but uphill sections. Bus 358: alight High Street/Church Road.

WOOLWICH - EXCEL Meet at entrance of Woolwich Arsenal Rail Station for a 4 mile unhurried linear walk along Thames Path (North Bank) to the Excel centre. Picnic lunch stop. Due to finish 3.00pm. Return from Pontoon Dock DLR.
SAT 25 APRIL 2 2.00pm BLUE PLAQUE BIGGIN HILL, DOWNE, & FARNBOROUGH
Meet at the RAF Chapel of Remembrance entrance to Biggin Hill Airport (TQ410 606), near the Hanbury Drive request bus 246/320/R2 stop on the A233. 5 mile linear walk via Downe and High Elms Country Park to the 358/402 bus stop in Farnborough village, viewing three Blue Plaques en route.
MON 27 APRIL 10.00am Meet at the "Three Horseshoes", Main Road, Knockholt for a mainly flat walk lasting 2¼ hours.
TUES 28 APRIL 10.00am Meet in Scadbury car park, off Old Perry Street, Chislehurst (nearest bus stop in Perry Street) for the EnBro Silver Jubilee walk of approx. 6 miles. Finish about 1pm.

Meet at "The Crown", School Road, Chislehurst. A walk around Pond Wood and Petts Wood, hoping to see early spring flowers. 5 miles.

BLUE PLAQUE CHELSFIELD & CUDHAM Meet at the "Five Bells" bus stop, Chelsfield Village on arrival of the R3 bus from the PRU Hospital, Locksbottom, at 13.14; Queensway, Petts Wood Station at 13.34; and Orpington Station bus station at 13.57. 4 mile linear walk via Pratts Bottom to the "Blacksmith's Arms" bus stop in Cudham. R5/R10 bus to Green Street Green and Orpington.
