JUST A FEW POINTS

FITNESS -
The Walks Programme contains a wide variety of walks from gentle strolls to the more strenuous walks whereby leaders aim to complete a 5 mile walk within approximately 2 hours.  It is important for your own comfort and safety to wear sensible walking boots or shoes as footpaths can be muddy and uneven and there can be stiles. The public are respectfully urged to ensure that they undertake walks within their capabilities so as not to over-stress themselves or hold up the group as a whole. Leaders will normally explain the walk and forecast a completion time before they set off.

PERSONAL SAFETY -
in accordance with the usual EnBro practice, walkers are individually responsible for their own safety during these walks and EnBro expects all walkers to observe carefully all the relevant rules in both the Highway Code and the Country Code; all walkers participate at their own risk.

DOGS - well behaved and on a lead, are permitted on the walks, but if dogs misbehave the owner and dog will be asked to leave by the walks leader.

PARKING - Please do not park in Pub car parks at the beginning of the walks. The public are respectfully asked to park legally, in convenient side-roads, etc. and walk to the start venue of the walk.

SECURITY - Please remember to lock all valuables in the boot or glove compartment of your car and ensure that no articles are left on the seats in public view. We have had incidents of cars being broken into whilst we have been walking.

The EnBro Public Walks Programme is available in all Bromley Public Libraries during March, June, September and December, for the following three months.
